DomoDeals™ sells modified modems with custom firmware for diagnostic and testing purposes.

Our mission is to provide the highest quality items and accessories to our customers with the fastest shipping and customer service, as well as ensuring the highest standard of privacy and security for our clients.


TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Privacy and Anonyminity

Our customers’ privacy is a top priority and as such we keep minimal information regarding customers and orders. Any maintained information is properly secured and encrypted according to industry standards. We do comply with all lawful requests; however, we do not store and maintain any of the following information:

  • Firmware backups

  • Device Images (full flash, UBFI1/2)


Our Products

All Modified Modems are thoroughly tested before shipment, safely packaged for shipment, insured against loss or damage, and guaranteed free from defects upon arrival. These items are non-returnable.

All Modified Modems are boxed in non-retail packaging.


Our Prices

DomoDeals™ is able to offer substantially discounted prices because we source our equipment from wholesale channels or direct from manufacturer. The non-retail packaging further reduces costs associated with traditional retail distribution.


Payments Accepted

DomoDeals™ accept all major credit cards (American Express, Mastercard, Visa, and Discover), as well as debit card payments, through PayPal.


Shipping Policy

All Orders including complimentary (free) shipping within the U.S. and are usually shipped within 24 hours of receipt of payment. Typically, if an order is received by 12:00PM Pacific Time, it will ship same-day.

Items are shipped via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground on business days. The Buyer has the option to pay for Express or International delivery, which is charged at a per-item basis.

DomoDeals™ donates 2% of all net sales generated through domodeals.com to The Planetary Society.

Terms and Conditions for Modified Modems (BitWare, forceWare, & Haxorware Items)

  • By purchasing this modem, Buyer acknowledges that they know how to use it or are willing to learn how to properly configure the device. Configuration is required.

  • Buyer also agrees that the device will be used with respect and in conjunction with their ISPs terms of service and any applicable laws or regulations.

  • Haxorware, forceWare, and BitWare devices hereby sold are solely for academic, professional, diagnostic and testing purposes only. It is not intended to be used as a Customer Provisioned Device (to subscribe to Internet). Also, we do not condone, provide, or promote Theft of Service.

  • Seller is not liable for firmware features, defects, bugs, or failures. forceWare and BitWare are original works, with all copyright and all rights reserved. Only authorized entities may distribute the software.

  • Haxorware is the original work of its developer - Rajkosto / RajkoH4X0R.

  • We respect your privacy. Seller does not maintain any firmware dumps of items sold (partial or full). This is for security and privacy. As such, Seller cannot and does not provide firmware dumps (images).

  • Please confirm that the device is supported by your Internet Service Provider (ISP), IT team, or network administrator before ordering.

  • Seller is not responsible for the use of this item. Buyer assumes all responsibility and liability, including but not limited to: logging into the device, configuration, settings, diagnostics, and keys / files / certs.

  • Once the device has been logged into or modified (configured, settings changed, opened, altered), the Buyer forfeits any privileges or rights with respect to returning the device or filing a chargeback. Further, the Buyer assumes sole responsibility for its use.

  • Any instances of bounced payment or forced returns (e.g. Return to Sender, Invalid Shipping Address), may be assessed a 20% restocking fee of the original order total.

  • Seller is not liable for any configuration or modification of the device, including but not limited to: flashing firmware, serial / ssh / webui connections, "modem cannot connect", "tuner management", tuners, syslog information or errors, "cannot log in after changing settings", “cannot access 192.168.1.100”, firmware dumps, and attempts to reset/reflash the device, bricking, parameters, settings, addresses, and certificates.

  • The installation (flashing) of Haxorware requires that the device be physical disassembled (opened), and as such while the device is new, there may be the following [but not limited to] physical defects: the item label is slit down the center, marks on the top of the device (near the internal plastic tabs), marks on the side of the device (near the internal plastic tabs). We take great care in handling the item so that you receive a pristine device, but please be aware that the devices have to be opened and may have some external marking. Also, flashing the device voids the manufacturer’s warranty.


DomoDeals Warranty Agreement

By completing a purchase at DomoDeals™, you agree to the policies and procedures detailed below.

The DomoDeals™ Warranty is a stand-alone warranty that exists in and of itself, and does not modify or extend any existing manufacturer warranty. Modified Modems do not carry a Manufacturer Warranty because

  • (New) Condition: Opening and flashing voids any MW

  • (Refurbished) Condition: Do not carry any MW

All Modified Modems ("The Devices") are New or Refurbished items that are disassembled for flashing, reassembled, and packaged. Due to disassembling The Devices there may be the following [but not limited to] physical defects: the item label is slit down the center, marks on the top of the device (near the internal plastic tabs), marks on the side of the device (near the internal plastic tabs). We take great care in handling the item so that you receive a pristine device, but please be aware that the devices have to be opened and may have some external marking. These items carry no warranty, from the manufacturer or otherwise, and are non-returnable.

All of The Devices sold on DomoDeals™ are not covered: change of mind, impulse purchase, found better price, issues with customer equipment, intentional or accidental damage occurring after shipment, shipping delays, compatibility issues, and/or failure to follow troubleshooting steps. ISP incompatibility is also not covered. 

If any of The Devices purchased from DomoDeals™ arrives damaged and is demonstrably defective on arrival, DomoDeals™ will replace it with an equal or greater model, or issue a refund. For USA addresses and territories, DomoDeals™ will provide a reimbursement for return shipping as described in the Return and Replacement Procedure detailed below. 

All returned Devices must:

  • have been purchased from DomoDeals™

  • have all existing serial number stickers and labels without any removal or modification

  • be packaged well with adequate packing material on all sides

  • not have any physical damage arising from mis-use such as dropping or striking, or intentional destruction

  • have not been modified after the item was delivered

Returning a Devices that does not meet the above criteria will result in a warranty or refund rejection.

Return and Replacement Procedure

  • Send an email to support@domodeals.com with RMA in the subject line.

  • In the email body, include the following:

    1. description of the problem

    2. troubleshooting steps done

    3. serial number (sticker on side of product, usually longest number and/or labeled "S/N")

  • DomoDeals™ will help troubleshoot, and email you return instructions if the problem persists.

  • Pack the product back into a box with tightly packed packing material on all sides (crumbled paper, bubble wrap, packing peanuts, styrofoam, etc).

  • Make sure to cover all existing packaging labels on the shipping box.

  • Affix the shipping label to the package and mail it.

  • Once DomoDeals™ receives the return, it will be inspected and notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent out, with a refund (if applicable).


Additional Information

Transactions completed on other marketplaces are first governed by the marketplaces policies, and then bound by the Terms and Conditions provided by DomoDeals™.
